In this episode of the FitMIND FitBODY podcast, I chat with Lauren Callahan, who shares her remarkable journey from Louisiana to Bangladesh and back. Lauren talks about growing up in a big family in Louisiana, playing sports in school, and how her path eventually led her to running.

Lauren shares her struggles with life changes and how running became a vital part of her mental and physical well-being. Despite not being very sporty growing up, Lauren found her passion for running later in life, especially after moving to different places and facing new challenges.

One of the most inspiring parts of Lauren’s story is her time in Bangladesh, where she lived for a year and a half. This experience was a turning point for her, teaching her resilience and the importance of community. Lauren also talks about how she started running more seriously after returning to the United States and how it has helped her navigate through life’s ups and downs.
