In this special episode of FitMIND FitBODY, I have the unique pleasure of being interviewed by my daughter, Nikki.

We take an intimate look into my running journey, sharing stories from my earliest running days to how it’s become a pivotal part of my life.

I talk about my approach to mindful running, its profound impact on my well-being, and how it aligns with my life philosophy.  And or course we jump into the recent event we both shared – Gone Nuts!

Join us for a fun exploration of running, mindfulness, and a bit of mother daughter banter 😉

Running tips from Michelle’s:-
1. Invest in Good Shoes: The right footwear is crucial for avoiding injuries and making your runs comfortable.
2. Start with Couch to 5K: If you’re new to running, structured programs like Couch to 5K can help you gradually build up your endurance.
3. Running and Walking Combination: It’s okay to mix running with walking, especially when you’re starting. It helps your body adapt without getting overwhelmed.
4. It Gets Easier: Running can feel incredibly tough at first, but it does get easier with time and consistency.
5. Join Parkrun: Participating in community events like Parkrun can motivate you and connect you with other runners.
6. Enjoy the Journey: Focus on the process and personal progress, not just speed or distance.
